Chiara Dammann

Reminisce

Born in Buenos Aires to an Argentine mother and a German father, Chiara Damman is a singer-songwriter shaped by movement, language, and listening. Growing up between Argentina, Germany, Portugal, and Denmark, her music carries the quiet confidence of someone who feels at home in many places at once. That nomadic upbringing seeps into her songs - intimate, observant, and emotionally precise.

Music has been part of Chiara’s life from the very beginning. She began playing piano at five, picked up the guitar around ten, and spent much of her childhood singing in choirs. Voice has always been her anchor - an instrument she later honed through formal study, graduating in 2020 with a BA in Music from Goldsmiths University, specialising in jazz vocals.

Fluent in English, Spanish, German, and Portuguese - with a strong understanding of Danish and some French - Chiara’s multilingual world naturally informs her songwriting. Her lyrics feel borderless, guided more by emotional truth than geography, and delivered with a warmth that draws listeners close.

In 2023, Chiara began bringing her songs fully to life at Grapehouse Studios, collaborating with producer Mikkel Nuplex. These sessions led to her debut album, I Try To Be The Light That I Wish To See, released in 2024 and featuring a rich community of musicians who helped shape its expansive yet tender sound.

Now part of the Pastiche Records roster, Chiara continues to evolve as an artist. Her next single, Reminisce, will be released on 19 March 2026, accompanied by a special live show at The 606 Club in London, where she will be supporting Sarah Gillespie.

Grounded, curious, and quietly powerful, Chiara Dammann makes music that lingers - songs that feel like conversations you don’t want to end.
